Original 1966 Mono first pressing of this unusual album. Has a gatefold cover with extensive liner notes inside, explaining the concept of this recording (which is to turn these Rolling Stones classics into Baroque style music) plus notes about each song that appears on this record. Quite a strange concept musically, and Thomas Gainsborough probably turned over in his grave when Bertha Brown (artist of the painting on this album cover) turned his masterpiece BLUE BOY painting into a hippie rocker with shades and an I DIG THE STONES button on his shirt.
COVER: VG (VERY GOOD): An average used record cover. May include some seam splitting, writing, surface and/or ring wear, creasing. Most buyers are satisfied with covers we have placed in this grade for their collections. (Several blue pen marks on the front cover.)
VINYL: G (GOOD): Shows signs of much use, with probable significant noise to be expected. We will rarely list items in this grade unless they are very hard to find items.
