Im not sure of the year of its release (probably the 1960s), but this is one of the most bizarre DRUG themed records we have ever had. The convict-turned-minister on the front cover is JACK BROWN, who for thirty years was a dope addict according to the notes on the back cover. Imprisoned in California, he was released in 1964 and this album largely consists of spoken word by Mr. Brown himself. This is on a tiny record label out of Cleveland, Tennessee.
This is one of those rare records that would be equally as much at home in a Christian Gospel collection or in an acid/hippie/drug record collection. Regardless of the genre, this would make a great addition to just about any unusual or rare vinyl room and could become a centerpiece of an odd collection.
COVER: VG + (VERY GOOD PLUS): Minor flaws. May include light surface wear or light ring wear. Can include some seam or spine wear, however there are no splits or tears in this condition unless indicated. Possible creasing or dings, but still relatively minor in this condition.
VINYL: VG - (VERY GOOD MINUS): More significant visual wear, use and deeper scratching that causes surface noise and pops, but no skipping or repeating.
