Mulligan plus Red Norvo and Stan Hasselgard. This 1971 release compiles material in its original Mono format. Gerry Mulligan was one of the originators of the orchestra that was Miles Davis' band who recorded BIRTH OF THE COOL. Gerry's material on this album dates 1953. The Hasselgard and Norvo material is from 1947.
COVER: EX (EXCELLENT): Our top grade. Outstanding, not far from perfect condition. No more than a couple of small flaws, if any. Hardly any wear.
VINYL: EX - (EXCELLENT MINUS): Not far from perfect, possibly a couple of insignificant, small flaws. Very clean and shiny surface, and little evidence of much play or handling. Minimal audible imperfections.
